Director Sreenu Vaitla is after energetic hero Ram

Sreenu Vaitla is an Indian film director associated with Telugu cinema. He is from the village of Kandulapalem, East Godavari District. His first mainstream movie as a director was Nee Kosam (1999) starring Ravi Teja and Maheswari. Though the movie was an average flick at the box office, it was critically acclaimed. He shot to fame with his second movie Anandam (2001), released in 2001.

He made his own impression on the Telugu Cinema comedy. Most importantly, he is known for implementing parabolic narrative for the first time in Indian cinema. This can be observed in his movies Venky, Dhee, Dubai Seenu and Ready. He played cameo in Rainbow and Parama Veera Chakra movies. One of the biggest blockbusters in his career was Dookudu starring Mahesh Babu and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Since Venky, Gopimohan and Kona Venkat have been script writers for his movies.

He worked with top actors in Tollywood like, with Ram, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Ravi Teja, N. T. Rama Rao Jr., and Ramcharan.

Post disasters Aagadu, Bruce Lee, director Sreenu Vaitla is going through rough phase. Though he managed to start his next Mister with Varun Tej and currently shooting for the film, the film has been in news for wrong reasons since its inception. The latest is that the film is moving on at snail pace.

As he is walking a tight rope, Vaitla is now after energetic hero Ram with whom he had delivered a super hit Ready which was eventually remade in Hindi with Salman Khan. Considering the bond with Ram, Vaitla is after Ram who is now on success track with Nenu Sailaja.

Vaitla is reportedly banking on a top production house hoping that it’d bankroll the project. Let’s wait and see whether Vaitla’s fortunes will change or not. Needless to say that it depends on Mister result.
